How to Get to Patong

PHUKET SMART BUS
From Phuket International Airport (HKT):
  • By Taxi: The fastest and most convenient way. The ride takes about 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. Airport taxis have fixed rates, usually around 700–900 THB. Using Grab (Thailand’s ride-hailing app) can sometimes be cheaper and more flexible.
  • By Airport Bus/Minivan: The Phuket Smart Bus runs from the airport to Patong with stops along the way. The journey takes 1.5–2 hours and costs around 100–150 THB. From the Patong bus stop, you may need a short tuk-tuk, motorbike taxi, or walk to the hotel depending on its location.
  • By Private Transfer: our hotels offer pre-booked private transfers. Prices vary between 900–1,200 THB but give peace of mind, especially if you’re arriving late at night.
From Phuket Town:
  • Taxi or Grab: takes around 30–40 minutes. Expect to pay around 500–700 THB.
  • Local songthaews (blue open-air buses): run between Phuket Town and Patong for about 40 THB, but they’re slow (around 1 hour) and don’t run late at night.
  • Phuket Smart Bus: The Phuket Smart Bus runs from the airport to Patong with stops along the way. The journey takes 1.5–2 hours and costs around 100–150 THB. From the Patong bus stop, you may need a short tuk-tuk, motorbike taxi, or walk to the hotel depending on its location.
Getting Around Patong:
  • Tuk-tuks and motorbike taxis are everywhere, but always agree on the price before the ride.
  • Renting a scooter (around 250–350 THB/day) is the cheapest way to explore, but only if you’re comfortable driving in Phuket traffic.
Tips for Arrival:
  • Save the hotel’s address in Thai or drop a pin on Google Maps. Many drivers aren’t fluent in English, but showing them the Thai name or map avoids confusion.
  • If arriving at night, taxis and Grab are your best bet
